  1. It drives me mad when people object to wind farms. Apart from all the obvious benefits (i.e. the eco friendliness), I honestly think wind farms are truly beautiful things to look at. All those sails turning round in the breeze… there’s something majestic and haunting about them, don’t you think? They’re like big willowy tree spirits… they look like they belong in Narnia :)

Sounds like you’ve had a busy few days Suw… been reading all your posts with interest, now that I’m subscribed to KnM through my iGoogle :)

By the way… hoping to have a couple of kittens by the time you and Kevin arrive… expect an entertaining weekend! hehee

  2. II think that wind farms are really quite beautiful too - so elegant and graceful. And I’d rather have a wind farm in my view than a bloody electricity pylon or a power station. I mean, does anyone really look at Didcot and say “You know, that looks rather majestic”?

Very excited to here there will be kittens when we visit! I’ll bring the camera!

  3. Quelle surprise, after I emailed the BBC asking about the quote regarding ‘breathing difficulties’ and whether they could back it up, they edited the piece to remove it. They didn’t reply to me, though. Very poor showing.
